The stipulations in the federal coal lease C-
37210state that existing water conveyance systems will be replaced if impaired and all
on-lease and cross-lease water flows will be maintained. Some of the subsidence
stations are located within Stevens Gulch which contains both manmade (pipeline) and
natural water systems. We recommend that monitoring continue in the Stevens Gulch
area to record any longer term effects (if any) of pillar failures in that area.
Please contact Lynn Lewis at (970)240-5305 if you have any questions.
Sincerely yours,
All,, IGi ~G~~~: Cif'"
Field Manager
Attached, Coal Lease Stipulation
cc.
