Cattany <br />Division Director <br />Natural Resource Trustee <br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to approve a renewal application for coal <br />mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by CAM Mining, LLC on November 14, 2005 for <br />the McClane Canyon Mine. In accordance with Rule 2.07.4(2)(c) of the Rules and Regulations of the Colorado <br />Mined Land Reclamation Board for Coal Mining, we are providing notice of this proposed decision. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of the public notice by <br />the Division in the The Daily Sentinel. <br />The underground mine is located approximately 20 miles north of Loma, Colorado. The permit area is further <br />described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 3, I5, 16, 21, 22, 27, and 28, T7S, R102W, 6th PM, all in Garfield County. <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices in Denver and Grand <br />Junction (101 South 3rd, Suite 301), and at the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder.
