Uttany <br /> <br />Denver <br />CO 80203 Division Director <br />, Natural Resource Trustee <br />Re: Foidel Creek Miae (Permit No. C-1982-056) <br />Technical Revision Application No. 48 (TR-48) <br />Permit to Construct the 6 North Mains Shaft and Associated Equipment and Facilities. <br />Deaz Mr. Davis: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, <br />of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on May 25, 2005, an application to revise coal mining operations at the Foidel Creek <br />Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Twentymile Coal Company. All <br />review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. <br />This Technical Revision would petmit construct of dte 6-North mains shaft and associated ancillary equipment and facilities <br />The underground coal mining operation is on land located approximately 23 miles Southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. <br />The permit area is further described as follows: <br />In portions of Sections 7, 8, 9, T4 W, R86W; Sections 32 and 33, T6N, R86W; Sections 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 34, 35 and 36 in <br />TSN, R87W; and all of TSN, R86W with the exception of Sections 34, 35, and 36. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Rattlesnake Butte, Cow Creek, <br />Dunckley, Milner, Mount Harris, and Oak Creek. <br />The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of <br />publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Routt County <br />Courthouse, P.O. Box 773598, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, and at the Division office. For additional information or to <br />provide written comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567.
