.t ~~! <br />NOTICE OF PROPOSED DECISION <br />The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology has issued a proposed decision <br />to approve a technical revision to the mining and reclamation plans for the <br />North Thompson Creek Mine, Permit No. C-81-025, operated by MINREC, Inc., <br />under the provisions of the Colorado Surface Coal Mining. Reclamation Act of <br />1979. The proposed technical revision <TR - 014) was submitted by MINREC, <br />Inc., on October 7, 1992 for the North Thompson Creek Mine. The affected area <br />is located in portions of Sections 34 and 35, Township 8 South, Range 89 West, <br />6th Prime Meridian, in Pitkin County. <br />The subject technical revision addresses revising the vegetation success <br />reference area and erosion control plan, <br />Copies of the proposed technical revision are available for review at the <br />Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology office, 1313 Sherman Street, Room <br />215, Denver, Colorado 80203. Any person who has an interest which is or may <br />be adversely affected may request a formal hearing regarding this proposed <br />decision. Requests for a format hearing must be made in writing within ten <br />(10) days of this publication and shall state with reasonable specificity the <br />reasons for the request and objections to the proposed decision. <br />0927G <br />
