PUBLIC NOTICE NCIG Financial, Inc., 2768 Compass Drive, Suite 101, Grand Junction, CO, 81506, has submitted an application for a Technical Revision, to the Division of Minerals and Geology, for its Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine, mining permit No. C-64-065. The proposed revision addresses the issues and concerns brought up by the Division and OSM regarding the phase I bond release request. The mine is located approximately 3 miles east of New Castle, south of the Colorado River in the Grand Hogback region in Garfield County. The Loadout is located in Lacy, CO, south of I-70 and north of the Colorado River. The Coal Ridge No. 1 Mine permit area is located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Storm King Mountain and New Castle Quadrangle maps. The Lacy Loadout permit area is located on the U.S. Geological Survey 7.5 minute Rifle Quadrangle map. The mine permit area is located in portions of the following described lands. Township 6 South, Ranqe 91 West, 6th PM Sec. 1: Those lands in the NEB yet south of County Road 335, Lots 3 and 4, S~, S/2NW~ Sec. 12: N~:NE; Township 6 South, Ranqe 90 West, 6th PM Sec. 5: SSW; Sec. 6: All lands south of County Road 335 and a strip of land approximately 400 feet long and 25 feet wide which extends north from the county road to the Colorado River, originating just east of the mine entrance road. Sec. 7: NE;, NNW; Sec. 8: N~, NOSE;, NE;SW; Sec. 9: S~NW;, SW; Sec. 15: NWT Sec. 16: NINE;, NE;NW; Township 6 South, Ranqe 94 West, 6th PM - Lacv Loadout Sec. 23: A portion of land in the SW; of the NWT containing 9.35 acres, more or less A copy of the proposed revision is available for public inspection at the Garfield County Clerk and Recorder's office, Glenwood Springs CO, and at the offices of the Division of Minerals and Geology, 1313 Sherman St., Room 215, Denver, CO, 80203, (303) 866- 3567.
