~~
Walker, Byron
From: Jerry Nettleton [JNettleton@peabodyenergy.com]
Sent: Wednesday, January 18, 2006 9:03 AM
To: byron.walker@state.co.us
Subject: Twentymile Coal Company - Mid-Term Review and Proposed Bond Adjustment
Byron
In your Mid-Term Review letter of November 18, 2005, you requested that
Twentymile Coal Company (TCC) submit responses to the Mid-Term Review
comments, along with associated revision materials by January 18, 2006.
With the holidays and our current project workload, completion of all of
the Mid-Term items has not gone as quickly as I had hoped. We have
completed draft responses to all of the Mid-Term Review comments and are
currently working on the associated PAP text and map revisions. I
anticipate that we will have a complete response package ready for
submittal by the end of this month and am therefore requesting that the
submittal and associated decision dates be deferred by approximately two
to three weeks.
Relative to your December 16, 2005 letter and accompanying documentation
for the proposed adjustment of the current reclamation bond, we have
completed a preliminary side-by-side review of the current and CDMG update
of the reclamation bond calculations and have some concerns. I would,
therefore, like to schedule an informal conference to review and discuss
the updated bonding calculations. Given scheduling conflicts during the
first two full weeks of February, my preference for scheduling of the
informal conference would be early- to mid-week in either the week of
February 20th or 27th. Please review your schedule and let me know what
date(s) would best fit your schedule -
Best regards,
Jerry
-----------------------------------------
E-mail Disclaimer:
The information contained in this e-mail, and in any accompanying
documents, may constitute confidential and/or legally privileged
information.
