Sidewalks <br />Sidewalks constructed of Class B concz~ete eight-feet <br />wide shall be required along all streets with non- <br />residential uses. Sidewalks four-feet: wide shall be <br />required on both sides of all residential streets where <br />population densities proposed exceed three or more <br />dwelling units per acre and where lot or building <br />frontage is less than 65 feet. Sidewalks may also be <br />required through the center of long blocks, to connect <br />cul-de-sac streets, and to provide access to schools, <br />parks, playgrounds, rivers and/or other open space <br />areas. <br />5-502 J. Route Corridor and Terrain Factors <br />The entire route corridor of a road sr.all be considered <br />when establishing terrain factor. Most roads in the <br />County are in mountainous terrain. Some shorter roads, <br />such as those in subdivisions, may exist entirely in <br />level terrain. <br />I. Level terrain is where road sight. distances, as <br />governed by both horizontal and vertical <br />restrictions, are generally long or could be made ~"~ <br />to be so without construction difficulty or major ~'~-~ <br />expense; <br />II. Rolling terrain is where natural slopes <br />consistently rise above and fall below the road <br />grade line and where occasional steep slopes offer <br />restriction to normal horizontal and vertical <br />alignment; and <br />III.
