Cattany
Division Direcor
Natural Resource Trustee

On May 13, 2005 the Division of Minerals and Geology approved the Technical Revision application submitted to the
Division on March 23, 2005, addressing the following:
Stormwater Drainage Control Plan
The terms of the Technical Revision No. 5 approved by the Division aze hereby incorporated into Permit No. M-1977-
424. All other conditions and requirements of Permit No. M-1977-424 remain in full force and effect.
One comment that DMG received regazding this revision was BLM s request that any riprap armoring, utilized to
stabilize drainage courses on the permit azea within their surface ownership, be matched in color to the surrounding
landscape as much as possible. DMG recommends that the permittee comply with this request within economic reason.
Because DMG is also currently processing a wattanty release request for this site, the reclamation cost estimate will be
recalculated for the entire site during the warranty release process. That calculation will include the costs for installation
any of these drainage features that are not completed at that time.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (970) 243-6368.
Sincerely,
~i'~~
Steve S.
