Two minor changes in the
permit application would be helpful for further clazifying the reclamation plan for items
remaining on the Edna Mine. Please submit revised permit pages showing the following
changes:
1. Page 3.6-14 -Add fencing as one item that will not be removed from the site
(assuming this is so), and
2. Pages 4.6-148 and 149 -Change wording on these pages to reflect the
previously approved permanent status of the ponds (these pages currently have
outdated wording saying all ponds will be removed).
The Division is prepared to approve the renewal application upon receiving the revised
pages. When submitting the pages, please bear in mind the decision deadline of
September 12, 2001.
Contact me at your convenience if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
~ ~~
Tom Kaldenbach
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Daniel I.
