All reviews and comment <br />periods as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate <br />from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise surface coal mining operations at the Rimrock <br />Mine. The technical revision would change the sampling requirements at <br />monitoring wells from a quarterly to an annual basis. The Rimrock Strip Mine <br />has been backfilled, graded and the topsoil replaced. <br />The permit area is described as follows: <br />N 1/2 of Section 29, Township 33 South, Range 63 West <br />of the 6th P.M., in Las Animas County. <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map <br />of Trinidad East. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public <br />inspection at the Las Animas County Courthouse, 200 East First Street, <br />Room 104, Trinidad, Colorado, CO.
