Section VI <br />Bonding <br />The Division currently holds bond # 103824984 in the amount of $5,100,000.00 for <br />reclamation at the Deserado Mine, Travelers Casualty and Surety Company. Enclosed <br />is the latest update of the reclamation cost estimate (bond liability) using current unit <br />costs for the various reclamation tasks. Due to increases in unit costs over the last two <br />years, the reclamation cost estimate has increased to $5,420,417.00, which is <br />$556,935.00 more than the current liability of $4,863,482.00. Please review the <br />attached cost estimate, especially in light of question #6 in Section V. <br />This concludes the mid-term review process. <br />14 <br />
