Banks and Gesso, LLC
The properties are approximately two miles southwest of the Town of Brighton
and are located along the west side of the South Platte River. They are located
between Brighton Road to the east, Riverdale Road to the west, the alignment of
the new E-470 to the south, and what would be approximately 150th to the north.
Besides the existing mine, the properties are in agricultural use with various
structures and oil and gas wells. The surface property, mineral rights, and water
rights ownership and control are detailed in the appropriate exhibits.
The sand and gravel produced will be trucked off-site with a total mine life that is
expected to be approximately seven (7) years.
The reclaimed property will include one unlined pond at the north and two lined
ponds central and to the south. These are detailed in the mining and reclamation
exhibits. Surrounding land uses include other sand and gravel mines, vacant
agricultural lands, scattered residences, and a County owned land fill and firing
range.
Brighton Mine Amendment 2 20007WD
CAMAS Colorado, INC. May 2000
