CAMAS is currently required to provide construction
progress reports every two weeks. As you can see in the attached DMG policy memo, we are standardizing the
reporting requirements and will now require only a final construction observation report to be submitted
following the completion of the facility.
[f you would like to take advantage of the less rigorous reporting requirement for Cooley Reservoir and Stegner
Farms, you may submit a technical revision application for each of the two permits to do so. The DMG will
waive the usual technical revision fee in this case. In order to approve the revisions and permit a single final
report on slurry wall construction, CAMAS must comply with the other criteria from the attached policy memo.
In particulaz, the technical revision applications must include a commitment that approved plans and .•
specifications will not be altered without prior DMG consent.
If you choose to apply for the technical revisions, please include a note with the applications stating that the
Minerals Program Supervisor has waived the fee requirement. Otherwise the applications may be re}ected in the
initial processing step. If you have any questions, please contact me.
Sincerely,

Christina [Camnikar
Environmental Protection Specialist
enclosure(s)
cc: Barb Brunk, Rocky Mountain Consultants (w/enclosures)
m9ml Mcl k~rcporting.doc
