The information is listed in the order requested by your July 22, 2002 <br />letter. <br />Year Mine Opened: Somerset Mine - 1902, Sanborn Creek Mine - 1990, Elk Creek <br />Mine - 2001 <br />Current LOM in Permit Area: Mining in the Sanborn Creek Mine will end in early <br />2003. <br />Additional LOM in Permit Area: Federal coal lease COC-61357 (Elk Creek tract) <br />provides the reserves to allow for mining in the Elk <br />Creek Mine unti12016.
