The Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology (Division) approves the request by Bowie
Resources LLC (BRL) for an extension to the submittal date required in Stipulation No. 57.
Attached to the proposed decision for Succession of Operator No. 4 (SO-04), Stipulation No. 57
requires that BRL submit verification to the Division that the Bureau of Land Management coal
leases for the Bowie No. 1 Mine were successfully reassigned from Bowie Resources Limited to
Bowie Resources LLC. The submittal of this verification information was due on December 27,
2004, 90 days after the date of the proposed decision for SO-04. With this extension approval,
the new deadline for the submittal of this verification information is Mazch 27, 2005.
The request for an extension came in a letter dated December 13, 2004 and received at the
Division on December 15, 2004. Attached is a copy of the revised Stipulation No. 51.
