The supplemental information was discussed by representatives of Seneca Coal <br />Company (SCC) and Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (CDRMS) at a meeting in <br />CDRMS's Denver office on Mazch 5, 2007. A third copy of this material has been sent to the Denver <br />office also addressed to you. <br />The supplemental information describes how SCC may use turf reinforcement mats (TRM) in several <br />postmine channels. As we discussed, the design storm inputs are based upon a revegetated watershed <br />condition and curve numbers were selected ftom the values approved for the Seneca mines. Channel <br />geometry is based upon equipment limitations. <br />Attached aze revised/updated material and insertion instructions.
