Bacon Page 3 November 26. 1996 <br />This paragraph has been changed to the following: <br />"It is not anticipated that the sampling methods used during the baseline study will be <br />repeated when the operator determines whether revegetation has been successful. The <br />methods which are outlined below will apply instead. The methodology reflects the recently <br />accepted DMG Bond Release Guideline LGuideline Regarding Selected Coal Mine Bond <br />Release Issues_ Aoril 18. 1995)." <br />8c) As noted by the Division, page 4-63 contains the following paragraph: <br />Sample Adequacy and Statistical Evaluations: <br />"Statistically adequate samples will be coNected, with sample adequacy calculations being <br />based on total vegetative cover, total herbaceous production, and total number of woody <br />stems. Statistical methods and formulas will be agreed upon prior to sampling and will <br />most likely reflect methods outlined in the Division's latest version of the Bond Release <br />Guidelines. Statistical tests will comply with requirements set out in Rule 4.15.7(2)(c)." <br />This paragraph, now located on page 4-ti2c, will be changed to the following: <br />"Statistically adequate samples will be collected, with sample adequacy calculations being <br />based on total vegetative cover, total herbaceous production, and total number of woody <br />stems. Statistical methods and formulas will reflect methods outlined in the Division's <br />latest version of the Bond Release Guidelines.
