GOLDEN EAGLE MINE -Stipulation 68 <br />Soils <br />No response is required at this time. <br />Vegetation <br />Table 21 has been modified to show the seed mixture planned for use in irrigated areas. <br />The seed mix has not been changed to assist in meeting the warm season species <br />requirements. Further discussion in this area is appropriate but should include the use of <br />management practices as well since the competitiveness of the cool season grasses may be <br />a controlling factor, regardless of the mix. <br />The success criteria on page 2.05-26 has been changed to reflect your comment. The success <br />evaluation methodologies have been revised substantially. <br />Reference areas will be established in the irrigated area above the ponds to be used for <br />revegetation success evaluations at the time of reclamation.
