The revision was submitted by Seneca Coal <br />Company. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of <br />filing. <br />This TR provides a calculation for the reclamation bond for sedimentation pond Ol I and provides the design slope <br />stability analysis for the dam embankment. The revision also includes the addition of topsoil stockpile J for the <br />topsoil removal from the sedimentation pond O11 disturbance area. <br />The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 7 miles southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The <br />permit area is further described as follows: <br />T6N, R87W. Portions of Sections 28, 29 and 32 <br />TAN, R87W. Portions of Sections 5, 8, 16, I7, I8, 19, 20, 29, 30 <br />The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle maps of Dunchely & Mount Hams. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public inspection at the Routt County Courthouse, Box <br />773598, Steamboat Springs, CO 80477, and at the Division office. For additional information or to provide written <br />comments, contact the Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, <br />Colorado 80203, (303) 866-3567. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments <br />be submitted within fifteen (IS) days of this letter.
