As per our conversation this date, this letter will serve as a
written request for extensions on decision dates for 4 Technical
Revisions currently before the Divison of Minerals and Geology.
The Revision numbers are 20, 23, 24 and 25.
T.R. 20 was submitted as part of the Edna Mine permit renewal
process. The current decision date on this T.R. is 8/4/93. An
extension is needed on this decision to allow further study of
this issue. An extension of 30 days is requested for this
decision to 9/4/93.
T.R. 23 was submitted as part of the abatement process for N.O.V.
C-93-025. An extension has been granted on this abatement period
to September 2, 1993. The current decision date on this T.R. is
7/18/93. The extension on this decision date is needed to allow
the Division adequate time to review the submitted design. A 30
day extension is requested to 8/18/93.
T.R. 24 was submitted as part of the abatement for N.O.V. C-93-
024. The Division has communicated concerns to P&M about certain
designs turned in as part of this Revision. The current deadline
for this T.R. is 7/18/93. The extension is needed to allow time
for P&M staff to adequately address the Division's concerns, and
to allow the Division to review the material. An extension to
8/23/93 is requested in this case.
