<br />Dear Mr. Strahan:
<br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised
<br />Statutes, the Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on
<br />September 21, 1994, a technical revision application for a permit to conduct
<br />coal mining operations by The Pittsburg & Midway Coal Mining Co., P.O.
<br />Box 176, Oak Creek, Colorado 80467, was deemed complete for the purposes of
<br />filing. All reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act and
<br />Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing.
<br />The applicant proposes to revise surface coal mining operations at the Edna
<br />Mine. The technical revision provides updated information on the sequence of
<br />mining and reclamation activities per the Midterm Review conducted by the
<br />Division.
<br />The Edna Mine is located approximately four miles northwest of Oak Creek,
<br />Colorado, in the following sections:
