EXHIDIT G -- Water Information--This information has not changed from the original permit in
as far as surface and subsurface water considerations. The original permit document should be
referenced for this information. Stormwater management aspects, however, were scrutinized in
detail in 1994 by DMG, which resulted in TR-O1 Technical Revision to Permit M-77-247, This
included the design and construction of storm ditches, sediment ponds, and spillway devices to
contain and handle 10, 25, and 50 year storm events on the property without allowing a
stormwater outfall to leave the property boundaries. The specific storm watershed calculations
and other criteria developed for the Technical Revision are now part of the original permit
package and can be referenced as such. At the completion of closure work on the site, the
current crusher site will become a large stormwater containment area, capable of holding up to
four acre feet of stormwater prior to controlled release of the stormflows to a lined dual system
armored storm ditch, which will convey the stormflows to an additional one acre sediment pond
prior to controlled release. This system of stormwater control is designed to handle anticipated
storm volumes and peak discharges up to 100 year storm events without allowing stormwater to
leave the property boundaries.
