Thanks for the time you have spent talking with local experts concerning the knapweed
problem. You have presented ideas that I can use when preparing weed control plans in
the future. Attached is a revised Weed Control Plan incorporating your suggested use of
"Curtail" herbicide applied at the recommended rate. We may also use other unrestricted
herbicides as well. Delta will have to take care with the application around the water in
the existing west lake, but on the east parcel and when mining is taking place on the west
parcel this will not be a concern because there will be little or no water adjacent to the
seed bed.
4. We agree to wmmitment to having no more than 1,110 linear feet of'fz:l on the east
parcel at any one time.
I understand your concerns regarding my comments on the slope rates at this time. I can
only ask that look at them during your site visit to confirm or dispute my comments. I
made a quick check on how much this would increase the bond and found it cost approxi-
mately $4,100 more to do this so 1 revised my estimate to reflect this change.
DENVER OFFICE
PURLID Ffl_E DOF~Y
FILL ~_== ago
s~r~: t
~~~
7985 VANCE DRIVE, SUITE 205A
ARVADA, COLORADO 80003
303-423-7297
~I?eet~ed ~j, Fq~
1~-~- 97sss
