<br />PUBLIC D;OTICE <br /> <br />Dlew Castle Energy Corporation with its offices at 9137 East <br />Mineral Circle, ;#320, Englecrood, Colorado &'0012, telephone (303) <br />792-2725, has filed an Application for a Technical Revision to <br />its Permit for Coal h1ining operations in Colorado, with the <br />Colorado dined Reclamation Division for the Coal Ridge dkl Mine. <br />The Coal Ridge ikl t•line is located in Garfield County ap- <br />proximately 6 miles west of Glenwood Springs and 3 miles east of <br />New Castle in the Grand Hogback. The site is accessed by taking <br />the hlew Castle I-70 interchange south to County i:oad 335 then <br />east approximately 1 mile to the mine access road. <br />Although operations are planned for a twenty-five year mine life, <br />the current permit application will have a term of 5 years. The <br />5-year permit area will include the following lands in Garfield <br />County, Colorado: <br />A) Township GS, Range 91[•7, Section 1: Those lands in the NE/4 <br />yet south of County Road 335, and the SE/4; <br />B) T6S, R90T•7, Section 6: All lands south of County Road 335; <br />C) T6S, R90W, Section 5: All lands in S/2 SW/4; <br />D) T6S, R90T4, Section B: All lands in N/7., N/2 SE/4 and NE/4 <br />ST^74 ; <br />E) T6S, R90T9, Section 9: All lands in S/2 D1E/4, S/2 N7.7/4 and <br />S/2; <br />F) T6S, R90[d, Section 10: All lands in S/2 tIE/4, S/2 NT•7/4 and <br />S/2; <br />G) T6S, P.90T~7, Section 7: All lands in idE/4 and N/2 I'.T9/4; <br />H) T6S, R90F1, Section 12: All lands in DI/2 tIE/4; <br />I) T65, R90I~7, Section 16: All lands in tI/2 NE/4 and tIE/4 N[~I/4, <br />being 2761 acres, more or less. <br />• <br />
