<br /> <br />PUBLIC NOTICE <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology proposes to increase the reclamation bond for the <br />Ohio Creek Mine No. 2 (permit No. C-80-002) from the current $36,000 to $46,482. This <br />is a coal mine located 16 miles north of the town of Gunnison and is approximately 2.6 <br />miles east of Baldwin. More specifically, the permit area is in the S1/2 of lots 1 and 2, <br />which said lots are co-extensive with the SE 1/4 of NEl/4 and the SWI/4 of the NE 1/4 <br />of Section 16, Township 15 South, Range 86 West, 6th P.M. This area is 80 acres in size. <br />The permit area can be found on the USGS Mount Axtell 7.5 minute Quadrangle. <br />Persons with an interest that may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may <br />request a formal hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board on the proposed <br />decision. Such requests must be made in writing within thirty (30) days of the initial <br />publication of this notice and must state with reasonable specificity the reasons for the <br />request and the objections to the proposed decision.
