~ .Y • • <br />culverts in the conveyor/utility corridor which will route storm runoff, including <br />runoff from areas where spilled coal could be expected, to a sedimentation pond. <br />Any coal spilled from the conveyor should either be cleaned from where it falls <br />or, from the sedimentation pond if it is carried there by storm runoff. <br />Noise from a conveyor is not an item for over the DMG has regulatory <br />jurisdiction. Therefore, BRL is not required to address engineering specifications <br />regarding noise levels for the proposed conveyor in their mine permit. However, <br />at the DMG's informal conference for PR-03, BRL did invite concerned neighbors <br />near the mine to discuss possible noise mitigation measures with the company. <br />I hope the information above clarifies the status of the issues identified in your <br />letter.
