Lang <br />Division Director <br />Re: Review of enclosed TR 14, North Thompson Creek (C-81-025) <br />Dear Janet: <br />I have enclosed a copy of Technical Revision 14 submitted by Jim <br />Stover of Minrec, Inc. The TR deals with a change in the <br />vegetation success standards due to the alteration of the reference <br />area to an extended reference area. <br />Larry has informed me that since the mine reclamation activities <br />began, no one can find the original sites of the reference areas so <br />an extended reference area approach is acceptable. <br />In addition, Mr. Stover has deleted the mountain shrubland moist <br />phase (only 1.3 acres) and the riparian woodland designation (only <br />0.6 acres). <br />Pages of the revision that need reviewing are the following: <br />pgs 4-64, 65 and 66. <br />Appendix 3-W - technical transit survey by Hayes Environmental <br />Services. <br />Thanks a bunch for your help. <br />
