Revised March, 1994
3) In the event of a rise of the water table in the piezometer
well greater than l0 feet, Colowyo will notify the Division
within 2 working days and complete a survey of the twelve
subsidence monuments and report the results to the Division
within one month.
4) Colowyo will complete an annual inspection of the Streeter
Fill during the second calendar quarter by a registered
engineer. This inspection will include specific examination
of items 1 and 2 above and include a discussion of the facial
conditions of the fill in order to determine whether the
development of perched water tables within the fill is
effecting its surficial slope stability.
5) The monitoring reports and certified inspection reports will
be available during inspections by the Division but will only
be submitted to the Division in the Annual Reclamation
Reports.
WEST PIT AND SECTION 26 PIT EXCESS SPOIL FILLS
To develop the west pit and Section 16 pit, it will be necessary to
construct two excess spoil fills from material in the initial cuts.
For further details regarding these fills, refer to Exhibit 19 -
Geotechnical Investigations, West Pit Fill and Section 16 Fill.
The volumetric balance indicating excess spoil will be generated
and disposal of excess spoil will be required is found in Section
2.05.3.
4.09-2
