PUBLIC NOTICE <br />Lodestar Energy, Inc., Mountain Operations, HC35 Box 370, Helper, Utah 84526 has <br />filed with the Colorado Division of Minerals and Geology, an application for renewal of <br />a valid, existing permit for the McClave Canyon's Mining and Reclamation Permit, C- <br />80-004. The area to be affected is located in portions of Section I5, 16, 21, 27, and 28 of <br />Township 7 South, Range 102 West of the 6TH PM., Garfield County, Colorado. <br />The mine is approximately 19.5 miles north of Loma, Colorado. The area is shown on <br />USGS Quadrangles, Howard Canyon and Garvey Canyon. The surface of the proposed <br />permit area is owned by the United States. The proposed date of commencement of the <br />operation is immediately. The proposed postmining use of the affected land is a return to <br />rangeland and wildlife habitat. <br />Copies of the application are available for public inspection at the Garfield County <br />Courthouse, Glenwood Springs, Colorado and the Mesa County Courthouse, Grand <br />Junction, Colorado.
