Long, <br />Division Director <br />The Division renewed a mining and reclamation permit to Pittsburg & Midway <br />Mining Co. for the Edna Strip Mine on September 12, 1992. The operation is a <br />surface coal mine located near the town of Oak Creek in Routt County, <br />Colorado. The coal to be mined is federally and privately owned and the <br />surface to be affected is federally and privately owned.
