., <br />Mr. Stan Garvey <br />June 25, 1996 -Response to 6/6/96 I.tr. <br />Page 2 <br />become aware of the problem, and have secured a commitment from Westem Fuels-Colorado to <br />repair the cracks immediately following this year's irrigation season (which should end this coming <br />October). <br />As a fmal note, I wanted to inform you that this bond release is for only 60~ of the total <br />reclamation cost assigned to the 5-W (or Area 3) Pit. The full cost of reclamation of the 5-W Pit <br />was set at $151,703.33. The amount proposed for release at this time is 60~ of this figure, or <br />$91,022.00. The Division will retain $60,681.33 for the revegetation of the 5-W Pit following this <br />bond release. Western Fuels-Colorado will have to reapply some time in the future to obtain <br />release of this fmal amount. <br />I hope we have been of some assistance.
