Barra, <br />Division D~redor <br />We have received your application to revise your current permit to conduct <br />coal mining in-Colorado, Permit Revision 1 (PR-Ol) addresses the addition of <br />961.8 acres to the existing permit and the installation of new mine portals <br />and mine facilities (Sanborn Creek Area). Our review indicates that with the <br />submittal of additional information on June 18, 1990, all preliminary items <br />required by the Colorado Surface Coal Mining Reclamation Act, C.R.S. 34-33-101 <br />et seq. have been submitted, Thus, your permit revision application was <br />~ee~ complete for the purposes of filing on June 19, 1990 after initially <br />being found incomplete. on June 14, 1990. All review and comment periods as <br />provided in the Act and the Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from <br />June 19, 1990, <br />The proposed newspaper advertisement submitted with the permit revision <br />application has been found to be satisfactory. You should commence <br />publication of this advertisement as specified in Rule 2.07,3(2) of the <br />Regulations. Proof of the publication of the advertisement must be filed with <br />the Division not later than four weeks after the last publication date. <br />A copy of the permit revision application, less confidential items, must be <br />filed for public inspection with the appropriate public office as specified by <br />you on the permit revision application form. Ar(y subsequent changes or <br />additions to the permit revision application must also be made in this local <br />government copy. <br />The staff is currently reviewing your permit revision application to determine <br />whether the items you have submitted are adequate in terms of meeting the <br />requirements of the Act and Regulations. Additional information may be <br />required for purposes of adequacy.
