<br />This Technical Revision incorporates Into the Permit
<br />Application package alternative setliment control
<br />techniques to sedimentation ponds for the scoria
<br />storage, CVCC oRica, antl storage antl training areas
<br />of disturbance.
<br />Tha Foitlel Creek Mine is an underground coal mine
<br />located in Routt County, epProzimately 23 miles
<br />southwest of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Coal
<br />merest is Fetleral antl private, end the surface affect
<br />ed is federal and private lantl, The permit area
<br />encompasses approximately 22,580.00 acres.
<br />This proposed decision is based on a fintling that [he
<br />proposed operation will comply with all requirements
<br />of the Coloratlo Surtace Coal Miningg Reclamation
<br />Act, Section 347337101, et seq., GR.S., and the reg-
<br />ulations promulgatetl thereunder.
<br />Copies o1 the proposetl decision, indutling stipula-
<br />tions, are on file for public inspection at the Coloratlo
<br />Division of Minerals and Geology, Room 215, Cen-
<br />tennial Building, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver, Col-
<br />orado 80203. Persons with an interest that may be
<br />atlversely affected by the proposed decision may
<br />request a formal hearing before the Mmed Land
<br />Reclamation Board on the proposed decision. Such
<br />request must be matle within ten (10) days of the ini-
<br />tial publication of [his notice, must be in writing, and
<br />must state with reasonable specificity the reasons for
<br />the request antl the oblections to the proposed deci- I
