For the sake of time, however, the
Division would like to bring up one adequacy comment now.
Rich Krueger of the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS) has requested that the Division enter
into consultation with the USFWS, through the Office of Surface Mining (OSM), concerning the
Upper Colorado River Recovery Implementation Program. The Division is requesting that
Oxbow submit to the Division a calculation of the average annual evaporative loss for
emergency pond E. Once the Division receives this data, the Division will contact OSM and
request consultation by the USFWS.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
o eph.
