MANAGEMENT <br />Enclosed is an application for a minor revision to conduct geotechnical drilling at the <br />location where a proposed Gob pile will be located. The drilling is necessary in order to <br />have a stability analysis pertormed on the proposed Gob pile. Also, at the time of the <br />drilling, and alluvial well will be installed that will be used as a monitoring well upon <br />completion to gather baseline data. It is anticipated there will be 5 geotechnical holes <br />drilled, the location of the holes, is shown on attached Figure 2.2-2. The new alluvial well, <br />GW-9 is shown on attached Figure 4.2-2. Figure 4.1-7 will be updated upon completion of <br />GW-g. <br />Geotechnical holes will be sealed in accordance with sealing methods described on permit <br />page 3-21. A reclamation estimate is attached. In order to reclaim 6 holes, it will cost <br />approximately $3284. <br />The proposed Gob Pile design will be submitted at a laterdate undera Technical Revision. <br />Sincerely, <br />T' ~^~ <br />J.
