Perry Olson <br />Division of Wildlife <br />Northwest Regional Office <br />Attention: Mr. Jim Morris <br />711 Independent Avenue <br />Grand Junction, Colorado 81505 <br />Dear Mr. Olson: <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 35, Paragraph 3, of the Colorado Revised <br />Statutes, the Mined Land Reclamation Division hereby issues notice that on <br />June O1, 1988, a technical revision application fora permit to conduct coal <br />mining operations, File No. C-79-177 (TR. - 17), by Colorado Yampa Coal Co, <br />29588 Routt County Rd 27, Oak Creek, CO 80n67, was deemed complete for the <br />purposes of filing. A11 reviews and comment periods as provided in the Act <br />and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise surface coal mining operations at the Eckman <br />Park, Mine 1 and Mine 2 areas located about 25 miles southwest of Steamboat <br />Springs in P.outt Couty. The revision application proposes chanoes to the <br />existino pre-mining and post-mining land use designations. <br />The shove-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Ouadranale map <br />of 0000. A copy of the technical revision application is available for public <br />inspection at the Routt County Courthouse, 522 Lincoln Box 773598, Steamboat <br />Springs, CO.
