E°nR Craig, CO 81625 D~~~r~°^ Dueaor Re: Yoast Mine (Permit No. C-94-082) Technical Revision No. 02 Cover Standard for Concentrated Shrub Stands Dear Mr. Strahan: The Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 33, Article 34, Section 118, Paragraph 3 of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on December 20, 1995 an application to revise coal mining operations at the Yoast Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Seneca Coal Company. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. This revision addresses a stipulation to the Yoast Mine permit, which requires a cover standard for concentrated shrub establishment areas based on reference area cover comparison. The surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 8.5 miles southeast of the town of Hayden, Colorado. The petmit area is further described as follows: Townshin 6 North.
