Page 3
August 11, 1998
Mr. Bill Baiey
7) No costs were provided in Exhibit L for demolition or waste disposal. Will there be any
structures at the processing site which will have to be removed or demolished? If so please provide
information such as size, type of construction, and disposal plans which can be used to calculate the
demolition costs.
8) The Division will accept the bid from Casey Concrete Company for the 37,000/c.y. of fill.
However we will stipulate that if an approved augmentation plan is not received before three years
after the approval of the permit, another bid for this material must be provided to the Division. Also, a
cost must be added to grade the fill material in place once it is delivered. Please provide a cost
estimate for this.
9) The Division cannot calculate the final reclamation bond until we receive the information
requested under item 6. We will also add costs for mobilization/demobilization contractors' costs and
profits and a 5% reclamation fund. In order to evaluate your responses and calculate a financial
warranty, the Division requests that you respond to this review by August 24, 1998
Also, please note that we must receive proof that the public notice was published prior to the
amendment's approval.
If you have any question, please contact me or Carl Mount of this office.
Sincerely,
H ~
Gregg R. quire
Environmental Protection Specialist
cc: Cazl B.
