Walther <br />E.ecmive Dueaor <br />RE: Spotted Burro Pit; File # M-19 79-192; Conversion Application Informal Conferenc~~thael R.long <br /> v s on Director <br />Dear Mr. Coffee: <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology received your letter objecting to the conversion of the <br />Spotted Burro Pit from 110 Construction Materials Permit to a 112 Construction Materials <br />Permit on Mazch 27, 2000. As the objection was received within the public comment period, <br />you aze being considered a valid objector to this application. With that privilege also comes <br />some responsibilities. Enclosed with this letter is a packet of information concerning the <br />objection process and your rights and responsibilities as an objector. If you have any questions <br />about this information or the process, please contact me. <br />The first step in the objection process is for our office to hold an informal conference with the <br />applicant and all objectors to explain the entire process including the informal conference, the <br />pre-board conference, and the eventual boazd hearing. In addition, the informal conference <br />officer will explain what the Division of Minerals and Geology is responsible for with respect to <br />permitting and inspecting mining sites within the state. This informal conference will be held on <br />Monday, April 24, 2000 at 10:30 a.m. at the Florence Town Hall which is located at 300 W. <br />Main in Florence, Colorado.
