Changes to seed mixes for Range Site A, Range
Site B, and drainageways, diversions, and dam spillways at Trapper
Mine.
The following changes are proposed in our seed mixes for Range Site A, Range Site
B, and drainageway, diversions, and dam spillways at Trapper Mine. Minor changes
include the elimination of fourwing saltbush (Atriplex canescens) from all three
seed mixes. Until more cold-tolerant varieties are developed, this
species shall no longer be planted.
Various woody plant species will be added to the list of preferred plant species
to be seeded and/or transplanted (bare root or potted shrub seedlings) in Range
Sites A and B and in Drainageways, Diversions, and Dam Spillways. The species to
be added include:
S ecies
Artemesia tridentate (Big Sagebrush)
Ceanothus velutinus (Snowbrush Ceonothus)
Ceratoides Janata ~ntedat)
Cratageus spp. (Hawthorn)
cont.
Seed mix
Range Site A
Range Site B
Range Site A
Range Site B
Drainageways
Drainageways
Range Site A
Range Site B
Drainageways
P.O.
