I have forwarded the report to /tllen <br />Sorenson for his review. <br />I am concerned, based upon the closing comment in your cover lE!tter, that <br />a misunderstanding may exist regarding the solicitation of this report. We <br />will forward any requests for additional information regarding thesf! topics to <br />your office's attention, pursuant to your expressed desire. In ordclr to <br />eliminate any possible misunderstanding, I discussed this situation with Mr. <br />Sorenson. Allen informs me that he telephoned Mr. Rob Dorey of Steffen, <br />Robertson and Kirsten to request the information at the specific direction of <br />Mr. Gary Dodson, Battle Mountain Goid,s environmental liaison for t11e San Luis <br />project. Further, Allen later informed your attorney, Mr. Dean Mas~;ey, of <br />this series of events, in response to his specific inquiry. <br />Our staff is aware of the normal professional and ethical protocol to be <br />observed in completing such requests. I want to assure you that we will <br />continue to strive to observe the appropriate operator/consultant/rc!gulator <br />proprieties in this and all future interactions.
