<br /> <br />\CW TIIS^.t.FO~c, Pursuant to [he authority set forth in the Colorado <br />Open ;lining Land leclamation Act, the Land Reclamation lioard of the State of <br />Colorado has determined that the following land stabilization and reclamation <br />procedures tai11 be followed in the mining operation of Loveland in Sections <br />16, 17, Township 5 1\orth, Range 69 iJest, Lorimer County, Colorado, and <br />Loveland hereby agrees to faithfully perform the land stabilization and <br />reclamation work required herein. <br />1. Loveland will monitor and control fugitive dust to keep same <br />in compliance with the dust emission standards set by the Colorado Air <br />Pollution Control Commission. <br />2. Blasting will be conducted during daylight hours only, and in <br />a manner to alleviate or curtail shock and concussion nuisance by controlling <br />the size of the blast. <br />3. Daily operations will not begin before 6:00 A.M, nor extend <br />past 10:00 P.M. <br />4. Plan and agreement will be updated annually so that new <br />techniques can be utilized as the}• are produced or found. <br />5. Loveland will furnish the Land Reclamation Eoard a performance <br />bond in the amount of $22,500 to insure <br />that the work required herein will be accomplished. <br />6. Wherever possible Loveland will stockpile and retain topsoil <br />on the property covered by this permit for future use on said property. <br />7. Loveland will grade and stabilize any surface area disturbed <br />by this operation and revegetate the area, following the best information <br />available from qualified organizations or persons. After the operation has <br />been completed and has been graded to conform with the surrounding area, <br />the following plants are recommended to be planted on the area: <br />A. Russian idildrye - Elymus .lunceus <br />B. Crested WheaCgrass - Agropyron Desotorum <br />C. Intermediate [Jheatgrass - Agropyron Intermedium <br />in the fall of the year. The Board in consultation with the land owner and <br />local Soil Conservation District shall determine cahen grazing can start. <br />-2- <br />
