<br />EXHIBIT J - Vegetation Information <br />The present vegetation consists primarily of pasture grass. Cottonwood, <br />Willow and Russian Olive trees exist primarily along the east and south <br />edges of the affected area ranging in height up to 35 feet. Most them <br />will be saved. The pasture grass is sparse and less than a foot in height. <br />EXHIBIT K - Climate <br />The average annual rainfall is 14 in. +, the prevailing winds are from the <br />north northwest reaching a maximum velocity of approximately 100 mph. The <br />temperature ranges from - 10°F to + 100°F. <br />EXHIBIT L - Reclamation Costs <br />The total cost of reclamation is estimated at $3,000.00 for this area. The <br />re vegetation portion of this cost, including topsoil spreading, leveling, <br />plowing ($0.50/yd.3) and reseeding with grasses ($1.15/lb.) is estimated <br />at not more than $1,000.00 of that cost. The applicant will also have <br />to replace water lost to evaporation due to ponding of water. It is esti- <br />mated that at 0.1 in./day, the loss will be approximately 0.05 cfs. The <br />applicant owns an und,:vided 2/3 interest in the water rights of the Rist <br />and Goss Ditch. The applicants interest in Priority No. 9 is 4.27 cfs, <br />which inay be designated for such a use, subject to the limitations set <br />forth in Case No. W-7412 in District Court for 4Jater Division No. 1, State <br />of Colorado.
