George Fancher
Eagle Construction Corp.
1811 West 12th
Loveland, CO 80537

RE: Pit Area East of Wilson and North of River
Dear Mr. Fancher:
Enclosed are the results of reboring the area in question to verify
gravel depth and thickness. A key map locating the test holes is
also included. As can be noted in test holes 5, 6 and 7, the
usable gravel layer pinches significantly, as might well be expected
from the rising terrain. Throughout the remainder of the area, the
thickness of the gravel appears to be in the range of 18 to 22 feet,
with the depth of overburden ranging up to 6 feet except just below
the Barnes Ditch. The test hole logs are self-explanatory, but
should there be any additional testing needed or if you have any
questions, please call.
Very truly yours,
HOGA -AND OLHAUSEN, C.
~~ ~
~~ ~ -- --
avid Shupe
P.E. 5914 /
DS/cd
Enclosures
ow
o~
o~
.~
~_
o~~
~w,T
~,
~ U
~~~
u.-
0
x
K
m
c w
o:
1
U ,
- L
L _
T
r7 ~
C ^, ~
V
