COMMENTS-COMPLIANCE
This was a Phase I bond release inspection of the thermal event area conducted by Jim
Burnell of CDMG on Thursday, October 7, 2004. Other participants in the inspection were
Henry Barbe of Mountain Coal Company. Sandy Brown of CDMG, Mitch Rollings of the
Office of Surface Mining, and Liane Matson and Ryan Taylor of the US Forest Service,
surface manager of most of the inspected site The weather was fair and sunny.
For organizational purposes, the area inspected for bond release will be discussed as eight
separate areas, conforming to the map provided in the bond release application.
