Coal Mine (Permit No. C-80-002) <br />Technical Revision No. 02 (Incidental Boundary Change) <br />Dear Mr. Kesterke: <br />Pursuant to Title 34, Article 33, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, the <br />Division of Minerals and Geology hereby issues notice that on April 13, 1995, <br />a technical revision application for a permit to conduct coal mining <br />operations by O.C. Coal Mine, 2054 County Road 730, Gunnison, CO 81230, was <br />deemed complete for the purposes of filing. All reviews and comment periods <br />as provided in the Act and Regulations promulgated thereunder initiate from <br />this day of filing. <br />The applicant proposes to revise underground coal mining operations at the <br />O.C. Coal Mine. The technical revision addresses an incidental permit <br />boundary change, adding approximately 8.5 acres to the permit area. <br />The O.C. Coal Mine permit area is located approximately 16 miles north of <br />Gunnison, Colorado, in Section 16, Township 15 South, Range 86 West of the <br />6th P.M. This tract of land is shown on the USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of <br />Mount Axtell. <br />A copy of the technical revision application is available for public <br />inspection at the Gunnison County Courthouse, 200 East Virginia Avenue, <br />Gunnison, Colorado.
