Dapt. of Nvtural Resources
RE: Technical Revision regarding the Mountain Shadows Road on the Pikeview
Quarry permit land.
Your File No.: 77-211
Dear Mr. Saletta:
Castle Concrete Company has authorized me to request that the above
referenced matter be considered as an NP TR to the Pikeview Quarry permit.
IJe request that the matter be placed on the February agenda. That way,
there will still be plenty of time to build the road before the April I
deadline.
It is our understanding from what we discussed on the phone on February 5
that the materials already submitted will serve to provide the necessary
information for appropriate insertion into the Pikeview Quarry permit file.
In the event there are any last minute questions please refer them to
myself.
For record keeping purposes, this revision will be called TRN4 to the
Pikeview Quarry permit. We have been using this method of numbering
technical revisions on each of Castle Concrete's operations for sometime
and find it to be an appropriate way to keep the changes straight.
Thank you very much for your prompt consideration of our request and we
feel that although the matter is quite questionable as to exactly how it
should go into the file, the route of having it a technical revision is
probably the best. It is our understanding that even though the road will
be in the permit, it is not actually included as part of the permitted
mining and reclamation plan.
Respectfully,
~~ d °~~~~
Mark A. Heffner
cc: G. Scott Briggs
Gordon Morgan
