Lony Division Director I've reviewed the PR-OS materials submitted by Twentymile Coal Company (TCC) over the last few months. I've also reviewed portions of the existing permit. I've additionally referenced those items pertaining to this review that are being addressed in our review of TCC's RN-03 application. Rule 2.03.4(2)(a): The current permit (page 2.03-12, rev. 10/01/97) indicates that the "General Office" for Twentymile Coal Company (TCC) is "9100 E. Minerals Circle, Englewood, CO, 80155, (303) 643-5000." It is our belief that this is the address of Cyprus AMAX Coal. As RAG American Coal Company merged with Cyprus AMAX Coal Company on 6/29/99, it appears that this address may need revising. If so, please provide an updated address for the "General Office", if such an office still exists. 2. Rule 2.03.4(2)(b): As RAG American Coal Company merged with Cyprus AMAX Coal Company last year, it appears that the name, address, and telephone number of TCC's Resident Agent (current permit page 2.03-12, rev. 10/01/97) may need revising. If so, please provide the correct information. Rule 2.03.4(2)(c): As RAG American Coal company merged with Cyprus AMAX Coal Company last year, it appears that the name, address, and telephone number of the person that will pay TCC's abandoned mine land reclamation fee (current permit page 2.03-12, rev. 10/01/97) may need revising. If so, please provide the correct information. 4. Rule 2.03.4(3): The current permit text provides a description of the corporate relationships between TCC and certain other companies (page 2.03-12, next to last paragraph, rev. 10/01/97). As RAG purchased Twentymile Coal Company in 1999, it would appear that this paragraph may need revising. If so, please revise this paragraph with all pertinent updated information.
