Supervisor Blankenship of this office called
and left you a message today to adr•ise you that our preliminary review of the proposed
work has raised serious concerns about possible significant adverse impacts on soil and
water from the project.
Because the project involves considerable disturbance on steep and unstable soils, and
because the engineering details and maps are not available to us at this time, we are
unable to immediately formulate our response in detail. We are working to obtain the
facts needed for that response and will communicate our concerns as soon as possible.
The purpose of this letter is provide notice that we will be commenting on the proposal.
Sincerely,
DELTA CONSERVATION DISTRICT
` -
Eric Jessen
President
