Dudash . <br />Environmental Protection Specialist <br />Division of Minerals & Geology <br />1313 Sherman Street, Rm. 215 <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br />Re: Bowie No. 2 Mine (Permit No. C-1996-083) <br />Technical Revision Application No. 16 (TR-16) <br />Incidental Boundary Change <br />Dear Mr. Dudash: <br />This is to acknowledge receipt of your June 21, 2000 <br />correspondence concerning the project listed above. <br />Since this permit is concerned with an incidental boundary <br />change to an existing mine permit and. will involve no new <br />ground disturbance, we find that there will be no effect to <br />cultural resources. <br />If archaeological resources are discovered during project <br />activities, work must be interrupted until the resources have <br />been evaluated in terms of the National Register of Historic <br />Places eligibility criteria (36 CFR 60.4) in consultation <br />with our office. <br />Thank you for the opportunity to comment.
